Coming together with everyone connected to Lighthouse: run along, enjoy the braai, join the auction and meet Kenneth and Gerlinda.
What is Lighthouse Day?
On 19 September 2026 we gather in Oldebroek with everyone connected to Lighthouse: sponsors, volunteers, trip participants, churches, family and friends. A day to meet each other, hear stories from Rehoboth and take action together.
With the sponsor run, the auction and the braai we raise money for the Skill Centre. But above all it is a day to celebrate together what is possible thanks to you.
Walk in freely between 14.30 and 19.00 at Mulligenweg 13A in 't Loo (Oldebroek).

Building the Skill Centre together
The Skill Centre in Rehoboth, Namibia, is already up and running: young people learn a trade there, from woodworking and needlework to horticulture in Hope Garden.
All proceeds of Lighthouse Day go towards a new building, giving the Skill Centre room to grow. Every kilometre, every auction bid and every donation gives even more young people the prospect of work and an independent future.
